How to Turn Strategy into Tasks Your Team Actually Finishes

Link every task to an initiative, give it an owner and a due date, and follow progress on a Kanban board, a list or a Gantt chart.

Initiatives describe what should change. Tasks describe who does what by when. Without that second layer, strategy stays a slide.

Why it matters

When tasks are linked to initiatives, their progress rolls up into initiative, goal and pillar progress automatically. Leaders see real execution, not self reported percentages.

Step by step: Plan and Track Tasks

Turn the strategy into concrete tasks with owners, due dates and status.

Plan and Track Tasks in the Aitraxus ACME demo project

  1. Open Task Management and see totals for all, completed, in progress and pending tasks.
  2. Press Add task and link it to an initiative, an owner and a due date.
  3. Switch between List view, Kanban and Gantt chart.
  4. On the Kanban board, move cards between Pending, In Progress and Completed.
  5. Filter by owner, status, initiative or priority to focus the view.

Tip: Task progress feeds the progress of the linked initiative, goal and pillar automatically.

Try it free in your own workspace or open the ACME demo project after signing up to see a filled out example.

Bottom line

Keep tasks small, owned and dated. Link each one to an initiative, and let the roll up do the reporting for you.
